KAISAI becomes the official partner of the AZS UG futsal team – meeting between representatives of Klima-Therm and the authorities of the University of Gdańsk

With the start of the 2025/2026 season, the KAISAI brand began its cooperation as the official partner of the AZS University of Gdańsk futsal team. The partnership includes support for one of the most popular sports in the academic community – futsal. On 17 November 2025, representatives of the Klima-Therm Group – the general distributor of KAISAI air conditioners and heat pumps – met with the authorities of the University of Gdańsk and AZS UG at the University Rector's Office.


The talks were attended by Jarosław Gawroński, Financial Director at Klima-Therm, and Jakub Solecki, Export Sales Specialist. The University of Gdańsk was represented by Prof. Piotr Stepnowski, Rector of the University of Gdańsk, Piotr Walczak, President of AZS UG, and Tomasz Aftański, Director of the Centre for Physical Education and Sport at the University of Gdańsk.

 

During the meeting, the history of the futsal team's creation, its activities and plans for the future were presented. ‘We are delighted to be starting the new season with a strong sponsor brand. The First Polish Futsal League is growing stronger in terms of sport and organisation, and with the support of the KAISAI brand, we are certainly strengthening the foundations of the AZS UG futsal section,’ summarised AZS UG President Piotr Walczak.

 

For Klima-Therm, the cooperation with the AZS UG Futsal team is part of the image strategy implemented for the KAISAI brand, whose main goal is to strengthen brand awareness among end customers - potential users of air conditioners and heat pumps. KAISAI devices have been enjoying growing recognition among customers in Poland for 15 years, and are now available in nearly 40 markets in Europe.
