New to the KAISAI range – the AHU DX Kit system for integrating air handling units with VRF systems

KAISAI’s product range has been expanded to include the AHU DX Kit solution, which enables air handling units to interface directly with Mini VRF and VRF system units.

The new system allows ventilation and air conditioning to be integrated into a single, coherent system. Thanks to the use of an electronic expansion valve (EXV), the DX Kit enables the VRF unit to supply a refrigerant-based cooler located within the air handling unit, ensuring efficient cooling or heating of the supply air. This is a modern and energy-efficient alternative to traditional chilled-water systems.

The complete DX Kit is equipped with an electronic expansion valve (EXV), a controller, a set of temperature sensors and all necessary cabling. The solution is ready for integration with air handling units from various manufacturers and can work with both the unit’s own automation system and control systems using a 0–10 V signal or the Modbus protocol.

Alongside the DX Kit module, dedicated condensing units have also been added to the range:

• Mini VRF R32 – compact, energy-efficient units,
• Mini VRF R410A – a solution for commercial and residential properties,
• VRF R410A – a system designed for medium and large-scale projects requiring high cooling and heating capacities.

This new solution is suitable for use in, amongst other places, office blocks, hotels, retail premises, public buildings and industrial facilities, where simultaneous ventilation and air-conditioning are required whilst maintaining high energy efficiency.
